Donation Benefits Student Welders At Ingleside Independent School District

Koch Pipeline Company, L.P. (KPL) today announced it will donate 240 feet of pipeline to the Ingleside Independent School District. The pipe will be used by students taking welding classes to practice their skills.

“We are grateful to Koch Pipeline for this generous donation,” said Troy Mircovich, superintendent of Ingleside ISD. “It is gratifying to have a company so committed to partnering with Ingleside to help prepare our students for productive careers.”

Beyond its pipeline operations, KPL places great value on supporting good causes in the communities they serve. Education is an area of particular focus, and the $4,000 pipeline donation to Ingleside ISD is part of KPL’s ongoing program of contributing to Texas schools. On June 4, KPL will host an Outstanding Student Scholarship Banquet at the Corpus Christi Town Club where KPL will present $12,000 in scholarships to eight deserving students from four area high schools.

“We are committed to being good neighbors in the communities we serve, and making them better places to live and work,” said Larry Van Horn, vice president of operations for Koch Pipeline Company, L.P. “Supporting local schools is one of the most effective ways to do that and we hope this donation provides additional opportunities for students to perfect their welding skills.”
